Prayer in Colour

A calm, creative prayer activity that helps visual learners slow down and pray for people in their lives.

The big idea

Prayer does not have to sound polished. This guided drawing exercise gives busy hands a gentle way to focus the heart.

Lead the activity

Give each person paper and coloured pencils. Invite them to write a name in the centre, surround it with shapes and colour, and quietly bring that person before God. Add words or symbols as prayers come to mind.

Close by reading Philippians 4:6–7 and allowing a minute of silence.
